New Forum Page:

After months of developing and suggestions from all of you, the new forum page is up and running. Many thanks goes out to our newest Web master, David G. Because of David, Badger fans now have a way to communicate to each other and discuss ideas. Over the next few months we will be adding more features so stay tuned in. Thanks again for everyone

FAN APPRECIATION
The Wisconsin Badgers along with the UW Athletic Department have started a new Fan Appreciation award that will be awarded to only the most outgoing and supportive Fans of Wisconsin Badger Athletics. The UW Athletic Department will annually name a fan for the endowed award and will in accordance establish a scholarship in that person’s name.

This year’s winner is North Carolina resident James Johnson. James has been an avid Badger fan since his early years. James love for the university began when he was just a tot. At the age of 4, when he was still in disappears, James would run around yard chasing squirrels with his mini “Golden Axe” and chatting the song “On Wisconsin”. At the age of 6, James attended his first Badger football game as the Badgers beat down the native Tar Heels 42-7. Although James was not smart enough to attend school beyond 8th grade, his love for the Badgers did not dwindle. When James was 30, he finally got his chance to see his first bowl game, when he traveled with the ACC Special Olympics to see his beloved Badgers beat down the Miami Hurricanes in the 2010 season bowl game.
